Opponent Wanted - West Front (Matrix)

Looking to play a game from West Front (Matrix version).

Options are open for discussion.

I prefer less of a "surround and ZOC kill" type of game and more of a maneuver and shoot format. ZOC kills ok as long as it does not become a ZOC kill fest.

That will limit my opponents, I realize, but also exclude those that play here more for winning and bring me an opponent who just enjoys gaming and the history of the period.

Besides, guys, these real units could not coordinate their actions THAT well anyway.

That is how I play - I am a veteran gamer. 2 files a week max. Can play either side. Scenario open for discussion of course.

As you will probably get to know, I personally loath Extreme Assault and what it did to the game. What you may not know is that I have a win/loss percentage that is lower than most. I've lost more games than most players have reported on the ladder. For that matter I have more draws than most.

And, there are many players here, who do not use EA, that are not "sharks". Those who get involved in a kill fest because of disrupt - surround - assault are most likely not doing something right than falling prey to the game engine.

"Judge not. Lest ye be judged?" comes to mind.

GLAD to hear I was wrong about my generalization. That was NOT the case in a couple of clubs I have been in. EA was the main method of victory.

Will send you a file as soon as my PC is back up and running. I have East Front 2 Gold on the backup PC but do not know if I can get an update for it. Does anyone know where the update for that product is located?
