Red Thunder patch and PBEM saved games

The new patch is out. Does anyone know what will happen to PBEM games? Is it safe to upgrade if your partner has?

Most likely they will work. Just make sure you coordinate with your opponents and whom ever is doing the updating to the game should save turn during the orders phase, exit, update the game and then open the saved turn and finish their orders and then press the BRB to create the new turn file.
