HTH w/CS, Patch 2.02

Trying to play a friend H2H. Both up to date at 2.02, both using W7. Chose TCP/IP option, he hosted. I entered his IP address, but after a short search I get a message that it can't find him. Both of us gave EF as a firewall exception. 

What to do about this?

I believe you might need a VPN to play over WAN network. LAN setup works as is. I have personally ever tried this though, so perhaps others can chip in as well...

Settings should be as follows:

Protocol / Port (or range) / Host Port 

TCP / 2300-2400 / 2300 

UDP / 2300-2400 / 2300 

TCP / 47624 / 47624 

TCP / 6073 / 6073
