Help with Mods

Anybody tell me? I've just spent ages working on WF Infantry bmp files, making camouflage smocks for the German PzGrenadiers, when I loaded them the games still show the Germans in German Grey uniform?
Don't understand, (or have the knowledge, lol!) why one can load armour .bmp files and they show ok, but not infantry. Always wondered why in Desert games, one can't have desert uniforms also?
Anyone who can enlighten me please?

You might want to check if there are Early and Late War BMPs for the German Infantry. If there are, that could be your culprit.
