RE: Matrix Patch 1.03
Well.. a few highlights, which is subject to change:
1. Immobile artillery pieces will be given an assault value, to make overruns more difficult; with a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3.
2. On-map bombers. These can move about like the Recce Aircraft and have a limited firing capability. They essentially will come on map, can fly to their target, shoot 1-3 times and then cannot fire again.
3. Anti-aircraft targeting has been revised. Light Anti-Aircraft is actually useful now and excels in targeting the aircraft in #2 as well as Recce Aircraft.
4. Recce Aircraft Modification, the defense and assault values have been adjusted to make them a little easier to kill.
5. Horses/Motorcycles Modification, the defense strength of these has been increased by a couple of points. This gives the riders the ability take a few hits without being wiped out completely with one shot.
6. Horses/Motorcycles Modification, when mounted, these units can still fire. I hope the loop has been fixed.
7. Selfpropelled boats and ferries will be migrated to West Front and Rising Sun.
8. Naval vessels - all naval vessels have had their assault value removed
9. Trucks/Halftracks - A 3-SP truck can now carry a 6-SP Infantry platoon (Rifle, SMG, Engineer, etc)
10. Soviet order of battle has been redone from 1930 to 1953. This will be the basis for the Russians and Soviets in East Front and the Soviets in West Front. (This includes the generation of a plethora of new units.)
11. Soviet Barbarossa Campaign file is being redone with the company upgrade.
12. German order of battle is being redone from 1930 to 1953 for East Front. (This includes the generation of a plethora of new units.)
13. Approximately 14 new scenarios for West Front
14. Approximately half a dozen new scenarios (or more) for East Front; mainly showing off the new units.
15. At least one new scenario for Rising Sun.
This is tentatively going to be released for Christmas.
