Believe this or not - but I actually met the "Duke" when I was young, very young - I remember him picking me up and holding me - and said, "Hey there little fella" - no BS!! I met him at the airport...I of course had my little chaps and cowboy boots on...I still have the mans autograph! Very Cool - something I will remember the rest of my life.
My father is a musician and he and his band played for JW's 50th birthday party...do you remember the movie - The Wildcats - filmed outside of Casper, Wyoming....his cake was a huge oil tower about 6ft high...
He was the best!!
