US Army 72 -75 active, 75-78 active reserve. All peace time military police. When I went to Germany they asked if my record was clean and I said yes. So they sent me to a remote nuke missile site for security. If I had an art. 15 I could have had fun doing white hat duty in Berlin or Frankfort. So much for keeping your nose clean. I was in that first part of the "all volunteer army". My draft number was 61 and they were calling up to 62.

No, thought about a professional career in the military, but my dad, who was for 10 years in the millitary, warned me off: to many nimwits with a higher rank !
