A new version of the site

So, I posted my comments here.

Nice format! I know a lot of time and effort has gone into this project!

* Is this the final layout or still a work in progress?

Layout suggestions / comments (Disclaimer - these are just my opinions... I don't claim expert knowledge in Web site design.)

* Blitzkrieg banner should be moved to top of page - replace Venus-CMS banner.

* Replace or just remove Foxfire / marketing right banner. Not sure you want "clickable" windows on all page borders?

* I like the H2H scenario "window." I assume it rotates with random H2H scenario titles?

* How will the "news" section be utilized versus "announcements"?

* Nit picky - Please format Blitz "welcome" text into paragraphs. Wall of text?

Overall, a good and functional looking layout design! :bow:

Mike,
Did you typed your password in uppercase?The accounts on the new site are about a month old,and if you changed your password in the meantime,use your old one.

which will answer some of you questions.
But to briefly cover it:
a)This is definitely work in progress.In the end i don't expect the final layout to resemble with the current one.
b)What you can see on the left/right columns are called modules.They can be installed/uninstalled/ordered etc... from the Venus's admin area.So,probably when we'll go live the 'Firefox' module will be removed.
c)The H2H module displays random scenarios from the ladders you're a member of.
d)Announcements are meant to have a more 'global' scope.For example,the fact that a H2H scenario has been approved or that a member has reported his 100th game might qualify as a news.The fact that we have a new member of the staff,on the other hand,might qualify as an announcement.
