Opponent's Flags

It seems that the smaller flag is always on the left side! At least on these posted pictures...

I think it could be the flag window size. The right hand side flag in both examples, is the larger one, be it the Russian and or German flag in that window.
Like to see more examples to confirm it, that this is the common denominator etc.
I suspect the right hand side window is a bit wider.. :-)

It seems definitive to me! Menu flags can be different sizes, but it (oddly) means nothing at all.

(If I'm not mistaken, though, even the right-hand side flag can appear smaller despite force size? Which still doesn't mean anything....)
