River crossing scenarios?

I will test the pontoon bridge vs heavy tanks thingie separately.

After a quick test on Scenario editor alone, Pontoon Bridges with SP 1-to-3 are light bridges, 4-to-6 are medium bridges, and 7-to-9 are heavy bridges.

I assume they work as normal bridges of such strength. I wonder why there is a range of strength for each category?

It would be fun if one could weaken a said bridge with indirect arty, 1 SP at a time, so a crucial bridge that begins as a heavy bridge would end up unstable enough to support only foot infantry.

Two (weakened towards a SM9 scenario) Russian Army corps attacking over grand river Vuoksi. One bridge, a couple of pontoon bridges, lend-lease DUKWs, crewed boats, pontoon ferries - and a Finnish line on the ridges commanding the view of the river bed - but on a side of the river the Russians are coming! :smg:
