Problems and suggestions with CS
Greetings guys,

May have mentioned this before, but:

1. East Front - Soviet Armored Infantry Recon groups cannot ride in their lend lease supplied wheeled vehicles because the strength 3 carriers won't carry 6 SPs of infantry.

2. CS as a whole - Just my opinion, but engineers should not changed to the 3 SP truck standard. If anyone, engineers have such a plethora of gear in the game (such as mines, bridging equipment, mine removal equipment, hundreds of smoke generators, etc...) and are assumed to have it with them at all times, I don't think these units should get away with fewer trucks. The game is already tremendously weak in logistics; we have to draw the line somewhere.

3. East Front - when I try and use the scenario menus to increase the strength of the carriers (from three to six) nothing happens. Maybe I'm not using this right, though. Any help here? It's playing hob with my Orsha 1944 scenario (the follow on to the Orsha 1941 scenario).

Thanks,

LR
If you run, you'll only die tired.

One foot on the gas, and one in the grave.

RE: Problems and suggestions with CS
You can swap out the 3SP trucks for the 6SP trucks in the oob editor assuming you are in the pre-scenario building phase (otherwise you will need to delete the 3SP trucks and replace them with the 6SP trucks).

OR

You can manually edit the strength point values using a text editor.

For the Germans, the combat engineers are issued the 3 SP trucks/carriers while the non combat engineers are issued the 6 SP engineering trucks (which are slower and have a higher Victory Point value due to the extra goods they are usually carrying).
