What's in the Half track?
I am trying to go through the tutorial for winSPWW2.
I am still on turn one where I load my PzAufklaerer units (northern force) into the half tracks. Once I do so, I notice at the bottom of the screen it will show the half track and displays "loaded 6 (of 6)" however, I am not seeing any info as to what unit is inside the half track.
How can I determine what unit is being transported in my half tracks?
Thanks

Select your carrier. Tap your keyboard space bar. It brings up the unit info screen. Read the text on the left side towards the bottom. It will tell you whats inside ;-) You'll also be able to determine how much space you have left, in case you want to pack something else in there.

Ok found it, thanks.
From the info screen, is there a way to tell how many men are already loaded or is the only way to determine that info is to select the unit on the map and it will display the info in the message area at the bottom of the screen?

Not really, but say you have a 251/1 track that has a carrying capacity of 13 and you put a typical squad of 12 men in it, then the info bar shows 12 of 13 loaded, so you can assume you have 12 men in back. I guess the roster clipboard could use an extra column showing the current size of the unit. Might be nice.

Any causualites whether dead or wounded is consider inactive for the rest of the battle.
So therefore if you have a (12) sqaud that recieved (2) damage it is only (10) to load,,if the APC or AFV can carry more and does not go over it's carry cap then you can load it.
BTW,it's easy to see whats on board as keif says.

Also,a tip,
Don't disembark from an APC or off an AFV in area where heavy OP fire might be expected, better in woods or behind a hill or smoke or else severe causlities could happen
