STEAM IN-HOME-STREAMING
Dear Armchair Generals,

just want to share my first experience with the new Steam feature In-Home-Stream. My setup: my gaming desktop PC (Win7) and my HTPC with xbmcbuntu (Linux + XBMC). Steam is on both machines necessary. I added CMRT to Steam and started it on the PC, after that I started CMRT on the HTPC and it works. The PC did the work and streamed the game information to the HTPC (1GBit ethernet connection), where I could play the game on a 50” TV. I played it with keyboard and mouse.

It’s not a "must have" feature, but maybe interesting for some gamers here.

RE: STEAM IN-HOME-STREAMING
50" CM, interesting. I have Steam for my Total War games, can't say I am a fan. It is rather strange that even though I have the full game Empire TW on DVD I can't install from them, must still connect to steam. Very heavy handed big brother.
