RE: FMWarBajan is dead
Warren had become an invaluable, irreplaceable member of my wargame design team. My recent move to work with Slitherine Ltd on their Battle Academy:Fortress Metz module was in part due to the fact that I knew that Warren would be available to provide technical assistance.
His imprint on the 1813-14 Nap titles that I did for John Tiller Software go far beyond what was mentioned earlier. Warren would look over the OB files I produced and either give the nod or find errors and suggest corrections.
His knowledge on uniforms, when units were formed, and his German and French language ability were so important to the accuracy of my projects that I am at a loss where to go at this point for future Napoleonic game projects which I am interesting in developing.
Suffice it to say that his loss will impact the Napoleonic gaming community and that we all lost an important asset to our community.
Warren became a good friend and although I never met him or saw his picture, his voice will be forever engraved on my mind. He had a good sense of humor, loved the Yanks and Jets, was always supportive of my efforts.
Like John I am at a definite loss ... Warren was just one of those guys that you wanted to have around.
