Are'nt there 'tank recovery vehicles'? The US Army has such vehicles do they not? I was of the impression that these 'recovery vehicles' were for the purpose of removing damaged tanks from the battlefield for repair,and if so,i would think they could be used,if avaliable,but I have never looked!

Yes. They have 1 per Tank/Mech company plus 2 in the Battalion Maintenance Section. Then again tanks can recover other tanks with tow-cables. Takes a lot of time sometimes.

I just went looking through the MBT OOB for the US and only found a Transporter,no recovery vehicles.

Too bad,i liked Yogis idea of moving them
