The Brit 2inch is more like a grenade launcher than a mortar Bootie....could be (and often was) fired more or less horizontally. So you could shoot it at something five feet in front of you if you wished.

Cheers... didnt realise that.... funny that you can pop it onto your own head... must be the only unit in cm that can commit suicide. Unless satchel charges can be dropped at ones feet... :)
