Winspww2 & windows 7 (64 bits)

I am running Winspww2 ver 3.5 under Windows 7 (64 bits). During a pbem-game the game has recently crashed twice. Is winspww2 fully compatible with windows 7? Is it better to run the game to run the game in some compatibilitymode (windows xp or vista)? Any ideas how I can avoid these crashes?

Yes I would use compatability mode, a few beers to take the edge off while you wade through the posts might be recomended to.

Also you should update you game to v4.25.
The latest patch has been released.
Remember to Patch v4.0 first.

Do not do this if you have a PBEM battle going using Full Security though, it will kill off that game.

Make a new install and get that one up to 4.25

When you have finished the 3.5 battle you can delete that older installation.

I configured WinSpww2 (4.25) to run as an administrator and in Windows XP(sp3)-mode. Until now there are no problems...
