Help and VM mods
Blasted Laptop died

Can you help with 1 a link to the France 14 mod from Jinson (I think)

2 Volcano Mans site does not like IE 8 so I can not download his mods any ideas? Or better still can they be hosted here?

MapMod is here http://www.hist-sdc.com/MapMod/index.htm

At VMods click on the portrait of the pack you want to DL and then save the files onto your desktop and extract from there, work best for me using IE8. ;)

RE: Help and VM mods
Here is a link to a thread about a mod that is an extension of Volcano Man's.

http://forums.gamesquad.com/showthread.p...lle-Epoque

It's more traditional in presentation than Jison's 1914 mod, so it's an alternative you might want to consider. It also gives you the option of turning the hexgrid on and off.

It has links to Volcano Man's site in the instructions to the mod (you need to install his mod first). Just scroll down past the screenshots.

I use IE 8 and have no problems with downloading from his site. However, I also use winrar as my compression engine. I almost never send and receive rar's. I just use it for zips, which it actually handles better than the original zip program. And demonstration versions don't have that really annoying counter.

But as Foul said, if you want to download without discovering that your zip is corrupted and scrambled, don't use the download button, click on the image.

Sorry to hear about your laptop.

I use Firefox when viewing and/or downloading stuff from Volcano Man's site. There is a direct link to it on the main page of Volcano Mods. It seems to work much better than IE8 (at least for me anyway).
