SP loss ratio against the AI

Hi Guys,

As most of u know the AI as a player isn't that good. So if you have a balanced scenario in H2H (with similar ELO) the loss ratio in SP would be approximately 1:1
up to 1:2.

What would be an appropriate SP loss ratio when playing the same scenario against the AI???

If one wants to play against AI it is best not to pick H2H scenarios. There is lot's to be improved in play agaisnt AI scenarios. In fact the old Talonsoft designers, were not very good at designing for play against AI. This could be due to the fact that they had to design scenarios before there was a chance to become familiar with AI behaviour.

For this type of research it is best to pick a scenario that was optimized for both AI and H2H play. Play it against AI and against a human and you will have an idea.

You could try **A Key Position as Allied against me (our ELO is simillar)and against AI.

edit: for losses IMO the designer should try to achieve 1:1 losses for AI against average players.
