Multiplayer HPS Naval Battles!

Gents,

longing very much for playing the HPS naval series. But can't find any club or players for these Superb games.

Maybe we could get a dedicated MP group for playing these games here over at the Blitz?

For the moment I have:Jutland, Tsushima, Guadalcanal

I can not find the old NCC I think maybe that too is ended :(

So please gents let me know if there are any interest. Thanks.

I just purchased Midway and would certainly be interested in trying a MP game. When I looked at Hamachi's site, I noted that it was alright for Win2k/XP/Vista but no mention of W7 which, of course is what I'm running, 64bit ultimate ver. to be specific. Do you know anyone who is succussfully using it on W7? I'm planning trying it anyway.

No, but several wargaming communities use it for online gaming.
I´ll drop them a mail and post the result on this ladder.
Hamachi is a must have in my opinion. Very reliable and simple.

After my post last night I went ahead and installed virtual machine on my PC and then installed XPpro w/SP3 as the OS. I then installed a squad battles game on that. While this worked, performance wise it was a herd of turtles. I know Hamachi will work over it. I will continue to work out the bugs with it so we'll see.
Also some of my motivation about the VM comes from the fact that Midway just blows itself up trying to play Pearl Harbor in Windows7. Not sure if it's because I'm issuing too many strike orders as IJN commander or what but it just chokes and dies first turn every time :(.

It would be fantastic to play a scene with boats Jutland Russians and Germans and Italians in the Mediterranean Austric. If someone did the favor of adapting a certain scenario would be fantastic.

Asked a friend of mine who runs Hamachi on Win 7. Works just fine !

Maseda, the new Jutland mod changed the engine, Austria, Russia, US, Italian ships are not available anymore, but the gameplay is far more interesting now.
