Icons?

I've downloaded a load of Icons made by Oragus. They are all in BMP format so I found a shp editor, my problem is how do I know what shp number they should be converted to and then replace?

I don't suppose anyone has a selection of mods already converted and are far better than the originals? If so would it be possible to upload them somewhere so I can download them please.

Also I made some new Inf counters for SB..If I convert them to a shp would they show or is the colour palate no good?

I wish we could have had tanks and Inf to scale..
