1/72 Dambusters Lancaster
Hi Lads, here's one I finished a while back. My biggest by far, full of PE and resin too.
Quite a mission to build because of the AM bits but I think it looks like a Lanc and that's a decent result. Pics are not great sorry.

J for Johnnie, Maltby's craft, it dropped the bomb that took out the main dam.
Cheers

Very Nice! Thanks for showing.

With a wingspan that big, where do you safely store it?

Great work Jason, looks like you sunk quite a few hours into that one. cheers I've got a couple of big kits I'd like to do, a 1/48 B-17 and a 1/24 JU-87B but I don't know what the hell I'd do with them once there built

RE: 1/72 Dambusters Lancaster
Thanks lads, yes it is big, Wingspan is 41cm and it is 30cm long. I have a few shelves in my work area / kitchen where I stash my models...not under glass or anything, just basic shelves. Everything I have made so far is 1/72 so I can fit quite a few per shelf.
I have some more big ones yet to build..1/72 Liberator and B-17s then there are a few 1/32 in the stash...Spitfire, Bf-109 and SE5a though being fighters, they are about the same size as the Lanc.

I say build them...and then worry about a place to put them later...you'll find one!
Hurrah!
