My sister bought this most excellent book for me as a Christmas present, and it is a present I was grateful to receive.

The writing style is flowing and easy to read, and I found the inclusion of comments from people, from both sides, who were involved made it even more interesting.

The inclusion of maps also added to the excitement, as well as the story of the U2 that got lost and wandered into Russian airspace (by mistake) shows how a simple mistake could have lead to WW3.

I recommend this book !
