CS on Windows 8

about to buy a new computer.

So do someone knows if CS will install and run on Windows 8?

Matrix edition works fine. I had to install a free program for help files for any game that uses them.

I believe W7 already required an extra download for old Windows help format.

I normally log on to my name user account, not the admin. For PBEM I found that I have to make a desktop shortcut to a game exe and right click, then select run as administrator in order to allow the game to save the new turn files.
