Woohoo! The new W8 rig components arrived today, and what do you know, now it is up and running... Very first app (well, after Firefox): JTCS of course.

i5 3570k processor, 8 gigs of mem, ssd boot disk with JTCS in it... Holy cow, this thing is f.a...s......t !!! Even the org editor opens up like in 10 seconds, while a new scenario can be chosen in a blink of an eye... Spit

I formatted the old PC and gave it to my son, together with the 23" wide screen display, so I am enjoying all this with an old 19" 4:3 monitor... Need to do still some shopping...

Everyone, please allow me still a couple of days to get organised here, and I will be slowly getting back into my PBEM games... Helmet Smile

Hey John, will get right back on it!!! Nice action so far, the soviet can get complacent for awhile, at early easy advances, then the Allied Heavy stuff starts appearing!! I'm enjoying it, plenty of room to move about as well!!!

I think the ball's solely on my court. I've had a rotten turn rate past two months given my PC issues. Hope to get back on it soon! It is a fun scenario for sure, my Allies reinforcements are still making their way to front line but should be arriving shortly!
