Mobile units movement

Mobile units movement
Hello...

While playing the Kursk game, something odd began happening. Any time I make an attempt to move a 'mobile' (non-foot) unit, when designated, it takes off in large looping movements that have nothing to do with the hex I wanted to move it to, even if the hex is only one hex away. This happens in all map displays, 2D... 3D of any size. It also makes no difference if I attempt to move single units or stacks.

I have 1.08 installed...some time ago and haven't done any updates additions or upgrades in some time. So, just today... I reinstalled 1.08... and that made no difference at all. Has anyone else encountered this situation? If so, how did you fix the problem? Much thanks for any help or suggestions for resolving this problem

RE: Mobile units movement
I can't remember the exact specifics but each time we get a post of this nature it turns out the player has turned AI orders on by mistake, when this is activated the game programme moves some or all units automatically without the players input.

As I don't have any PzC titles loaded on my PC I can't look up how this can occur but I bet one of our members will chip in with the answer. Wink

Hello...

Thanks for your quick responses. But, just after posting, I figured it was only 'Kursk' related and so
I deleted the old program, reloaded it and applied the updates. Sorry about that. I works fine now, so somehow or other some part of the program went haywire. Maybe it could have been resolved quickly or maybe it would have taken considerable time. So, I opted for the quick fix.

Thanks
