Munk Wrote:Hi guys.

Sorry to butt in on your game, but i have been browsing through, looking at the pics, and I think i may have spotted a mistake!!

The SAM picture, that was guessed correctly as a Bristol Bloodhound is actually a English Electric Thunderbird, I think.... :conf:

You see, that pictures is from Duxford Air museum, ( i recognise the shot, i took a photo from alsmost the same angle!!) and i just got back from the flying Legends airshow, and the SAM has a info board next to it, stating that it is a thunderbird.... :P

please dont shout at me if iI'm wrong, or if I'm right.... Cry

Munk

You are absolutely correct. It looks so similar to a Bloodhound, it never occurred to me it would be anything else. Until yr posting I'd never heard of a English Electric Thunderbird LOL ! :)

RE: Vehicle Quiz
Actually Bogdan, I've touched this very tank at Aberdeen MD and was looking at my pics when you posted this, I had to go back and find it because it looked very familiar.

The tank site is nice indeed, many pics of Aberdeen tanks there

Here's my own picture of the tank

Part of it correct. It is a BT of course and yes captured by the Finns in winter war or later (probably in 1941-42). But can you get the exact model and the gun right?
