RE: ATTN Grumbler
:conf: I didn't think we had any games in process at this point in time. We had some going, but that was April or May, I think. They sort of faded away when we started whoopin a$$ on GB and SR. IIRC, they were not for keepsies anyway. You are the man in WW2 and WaW, but I own you from about 1960 on. You havn't quite developed that touch required by MBT yet.
I think it's the range that throws you off. You would move something out in the open at what in a WW2 era game would be at extreme range and worth the chance, but in MBT is a point blank kill shot. Plus you still have that overrun instinct from the days when Infantry didn't have Anti-tank weapons.
I'll tell you what. If you want the challenge, pick a map and the 2 sides for a pre-Sixty's game. I'll pick which one of the two sides I want and we can have at it. For keepsies.
If you want some more funnsies, start one up in the non-secure area. My PBEM DL slots are all double stacked. Got plenty of CD slots left, but I'm still suprised by how few have bought the CD.
