Sicily update
The website has been updated. Only four games are outstanding so we may be able to get round four underway earlier then the current start date.

The next battle will have each player defending AND assaulting in different parts of the map at the same time.

RE: Sicily update
We'll end our game quite soon too.

But by looking at the results... noone has won on British side? Do I see wrong...?

RE: Sicily update
Pretty much mission impossible, Johnny III was out of reach even without Germans slowing you down ... and several other things that was not favoring the UK ... or I am just a poor loser :) The difference comes from pts per turn flags which UK was able to reach earliest on turn 7 or 8, they scored for Germans so far and even then UK was only able to pick them slowly. But it's not important that UK did not win, you only have to outscore the others on the same side, it's all about doing the best you can and see how far it takes you.

RE: Sicily update
Right. I keep forgetting this team stuff constantly.
But I had exactly the same thoughts - Mission Impossible. Although it has been said "nothing is impossible":smg:

RE: Sicily update
I agree with you guys that it was a mission impossible. Especially when you can only see 5 spaces. But like Vesku said you only have to beat your team mates. I have finally managed to push accross the bridge to now find out that I cannot retake destroyed bridge hexes from the german player. Oh well..........Weasel has done a good job with this campaign and I'm glad I got a chance to play in it.

RE: Sicily update
Honestly I don't know what I was thinking with 50 points per turn for the flags. I meant to use 5 pts per turn but got ambitious I guess. I must have changed the flags by accident after editing it when I finished play testing it with brm_3K because we came up with UK wins. Oh well, no harm no foul there. If the scenario was to be released, which it isn't, I would fix it.

As for the hills, don't blame me, the objectives were those actually given to the Red Devils. That is probably why they sent 1400 paras to do the job, but only 400 arrived.

RE: Sicily update
There is only one game outstanding now, it is only has about 3 turns to go. So, does everyone want to start the next round as soon as possible, or wait until the official start date?

Majority gets it.

Also, the site is up to date too.
