Question about Ski Troops ...

Is there a way to have ski troops drop their skis, like a series of key strokes or something? I have scoured the manual and cannot find anything. I know if you go in a building, the skis disappear for the remainer of the game. If someone can tell me how to lose the skis without going in doors, I would appreciate it.

This is a problem I encountered too. Give them a small advance order, something like 5 yards. For the guys that cant advance use the same distance in sneak. Not perfect I know but it does have the desired effect.

Another little known option is to have them ski by a quaint lodge. They will dismount to sample the hot chocolate and other tasty morsels. The local partisans will steal thier skis and they will be forced to walk from then on. The game programmers really thought of everything.
