I can't remember, do we do the setup as attacker (allies) or defender (axis)?

I sent my set-up to my opponent Col Talvela and am awaiting his reply and his set-up. Games have yet to start.

RE: March to the Gothic Line Round Two
Don't get me started on tourney drop-outs and unreliable/slow players signing up.... I personally think it's worse than ever before... there seems to be a general malaise of apathy around in the CM circles, especially from a club participation pov.

I worked it out, that at current attrition rate, I will have lost a full 50% of players by the time the Blitz Byte Brawl tourney gets to the last round... and that, frankly verges on the ridiculous and I'm sure makes the organisers of such events wonder why we bother.

Well if you need another player I have a good turn rate and won,t drop out. The drawback is I am tactically challenged and often play in the later stages of inebriation.
cheers

RE: March to the Gothic Line Round Two
I completely concur with what Geordie has to say, but unfortunately, the point is most likely moot as those players who have not kicked off yet will not read this either. I know one tourney player personally and realize the situations that brew up in r/l can be quite taxing... and another tourney player has not house as it burned down.

If need be, I can stand in as a proxy and hand off the game at anytime if someone can get back in stride.

My only other suggestion is this:

Strict tourney rules: 1 turn every 3 days or automatic surrender. This has to be enforced.
