Hello from Baghdad
Hello all my Blitz buddies...

Ed, get a hair cut... and a shave... I know you've been slacking... I luv ya buddy... and Randy... do I have the swimming hole for you... the fish are piranna carp... LOL... they are huge and eat anything that hits the surface of the water...

It has been a very long time since I've been around... I just wanted to touch base with you guys and say hello from beautiful downtown Baghdad... :smg:

two trashed T-72s just outside my trailer door... Working in one of Saddam's Palaces for unGAWDLY hours for days on end... Listening to the sound of gunbattles just over the wall... and they're not always shooting at us... and the dull thud of explosions... now was that incoming... outgoing... or someone's car exploding.. never mind... the neighbors slamming their doors.... and oh brother... the Ammo dump the other night... now that was 4th of July fireworks... I even got to see it on CNN and Fox... much better in person... cheers but then again it's only near beer... I wouldn't want to violate GO1... NO ALCOHOL.. So, you guys have to drink mine...

I'll have to use MWR computers to check in, because the Army computers don't like "games"... and the Blitz is blocked... War is HELL... IF I'd have known that, I'd never have signed up for this gig... There are some things a wargamer just can't stand and blocking the Blitz is a crime against humanity... :hissy:

Hopefully, I'll get my new computer in the mail shortly and see about some real connectivity... but until then... I'll be around from time to time... to say hi...

Jim!

Glad to hear you are around!

Good luck and don't do anything I would do!

RE: Hello from Baghdad
Wow! This was the post I was waiting to see!

:conf: Hey wait a minute ...
Who told you that I needed a hair cut?

Remember to "kiss the sand" and come back asap! I second Randy's thought; "Stay safe."
And, I would still not do what Jason does either! ;)

I'll have a double tonight, in your honor!
Salute!

cheers
