RE: Who can see themselves playing CM for another 10 years?
Hi,
CM is the most complete and realistic strategy WW2 game i've ever played.
And my pleasure in playing it is still intact after 3 years.
I think i will play CM until the moment i would consider a game is more realistic than this one.
But actually, it is the best and i enjoy plaing it !
I drink a glass of champagne to CM !
Cheers.

I will gladly be playing these games as they are, I know change will happen,Might be better.. might not so enjoy the moment, But best of all if I am still playing, Then I would have reached the age of 80 A blooming good reason for staying with it.
Age really is Widom

I don't know how long I'll continue playing CM, but I can say it will be until something comparable replaces it. I played Close Combat for *years* before I found CM, so there's no reason I won't play this game until something replaces it.

Well, look how long the Chess game has been around and still played world wide.
The key element involved, is the "human" opponent. So as long as there are human players interested in this game, I'll play it. Or.. at least until the AI becomes as intelligent as the average human.. :-)

At the rate some of my opponents are returning turns I'm sure I'll still be playing in ten years... :(
