Looking for help

Good day all,
Well I am looking for new experiences and figure the Civil War might be just what I am looking for. Being that I am not a man of great wealth I would ask you all here for some information. I looked for HPS Civil War Campaign games on the web found that even e-bay is selling them for $34 a pop. But there are a number of them listed. So which one should I start with and a brief why that is a good one to start with? I also like the game systems like W@W, V4V and Combat Mission where both sides plot their moves and then the PC executes it.
