c_Question Mark  Playing fair
I realize there are some group rules in regard to using non-combatants (trucks) as spotters, blockers, etc.

Is there any way of determining if someone has saved, then restarted a turn because they didn't like the results of their attact or defense?

I'm sure that no one in this group would do such a thing and there is obviously a code-of-honor, but the question is one I am curious about, none-the-less?

Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day.
Light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

RE: Playing fair
Hello,

There is no way foolproof way to determine if your opponent has done that. If you feel that this may be occuring, you should bring it to the attention of a ladder custodian. Make sure you do it in a private e-mail as the Blitz frowns on public accusations.

Thanx!

You should also realise that sometimes this cant be helped ie powercut PC freezes up etc or the file gets corrupted.I normally inform my opponent of this and ask if its ok to redo the turn so as theres no bad feelings etc.

RE: Playing fair
Also just because a person saves the game and restarts does not mean he is cheating. I do it to go get dinner or react to my wifes whining. I also save and restart when the darn sound effects go nuts under XP.

What I tend to look for is someone that always has perfect turns. Like they know your stuff is there and you never get an opfire hit. I recently got blasted with Opfire in a game with Rattler. Someone that cheats would not allow themselves to loose that armor column.

Some players are obvious like the Swede that is no longer with us. Others are just great players. My rule is if I feel someone is cheating then I just refuse to play them any more. Eventually it comes out and that was that.
