First PZC Purchase is...Kharkov.

Took awhile, but I finally made a choice for my first PzC purchase with Kharkov. Ordered it from NW Online and once it arrives, will it require any patches to put it up to date? I imagine it should be ready to go right out of the box, but it sounds like everyone is patching this and that.
So, any recommendations? This will be the first time I've seen anything other than a screenshot of these games, but I have been following the message boards on it.

Great to have you join the PzC gamers group! You will need to patch the game, but it is just the latest patch, which is more to add features than to actually fix bugs. You can get the patch at HPS - www.hpssims.com. Enjoy the game, it is one of my favorites although I haven't played it in awhile.

After you have patched, head to Glenn Saunders Panzer Campaigns site and download Volcano Man's artpack.There are also some 1943 scenario's around somewhere.

You have to go to your profile (under User CP) and click on change avatar...

Be aware that the maximum size for the avatar is 64*64 pixels

Kharkov was my first purchase off ebay, still printing out and reading the manual. Big Grin

I checked EBay and all I found was at NW Online. $34.00 was good enough for new. Downloaded the patches already and art pack. Was the manual in the free downloads section, as well? I downloaded all available.
