advise please!!!
In a QB, 30+ turns the game ended after 26 turns, just when i was preparing for a final push !!! I know that when morale is extreme low, that this is possible and done automaticly by the computer but my (alied) morale was 52% and that of the axis was 49%!
Can someone explain this.

thanks, Owl:mad:

RE: advise please!!!
It's happened to me three times!
Each time, I still had some tanks on the map and I was still fighting, but nearly all my infantry were dead.
The computer is like a boxing referee, it steps in to stop the fight if you've lost nearly all your infantry..

RE: advise please!!!
What does your OPP say his morale was? Did he exit a bunch of units off the map? that will drop morale like a rock.
just using your own side's view with FOW will lead you to think he's doing ok

RE: advise please!!!
It wasn't the morale: me 52% and his 49% and it wasn't the lack of infantry, we both had about a coy.

RE: advise please!!!
I have seen the AI force a cease fire based upon ammo loads.... was the ammo for all your infantry units at 'low' ....

That is all...

Probably ammo loads. If both sides are out of ammo, the game will take it upon itself to generate an involuntary ceasefire. It has happened to me more than once. In fact, Dev was the incidental beneficiary in one instance ... not that I remember much.

;)

It has happened to me only once. But it was a hard fought battle and I'm sure the ammo loads are what triggered an early end to our fight as well. Both sides were still contesting flags and were in no danger of running out of troops.

Good Hunting.

RE: advise please!!!
I was the beneficiary of this auto ceasefire. Our morale is as OWL stated but definitely low on ammo.

Have never had this happen before and it was surprising but beneficial to myslef ( aminor victory instead of what looked like becoming a massive defeat!)
