RE: Germany 2 anyone?
Great, Musashi is in...

Here is what we have now:

Warsaw Pact
Major General #1 - Elxaime
Major General #2 - Indragnir
Major General #3 -

NATO
Major General #1 - Musashi
Major General #2 - Outlaw Josey Wales
Major General #3 - Greg

We just need one more person who is willing to be Soviet and also be Soviet overall commander. I agree with Musashi we don't need to rush the start and should take our time getting organized.

Two things to firm up:

*Scenario - now that Total War scenario is there, do people want to play that one? It looks great! Advise.

* Optionals - what optionals should we use? I am happy for whatever is considered balanced. I have asked the creator of Total War what ones he recommends and I am happy to go with what he says.

RE: Germany 2 anyone?
OK -

We have a 3rd Soviet player now. The lineup is:

Warsaw Pact
Major General #1 - Elxaime (email: [email protected])
Major General #2 - Indragnir (email: [email protected])
Major General #3 - Mafooo (email: [email protected])

NATO
Major General #1 - Musashi (email: [email protected])
Major General #2 - Outlaw Josey Wales
Major General #3 - Greg

Is 3 v. 3 OK? If no one objects, we will go ahead and run with this lineup. Each side can decide amongst themselves who is going to be Supreme Commander and also to divvy up who controls what forces.

Unless anyone objects, we can try playing the new Total War scenario just posted in the H2H section? I understand some artwork is being fixed so there should be a new version up in a day or two.

Optionals: I asked what optionals are recommended for this and was told its purely a matter of taste. Here is a proposal - we would use:

Night Fatigue
Programmed Weather
Limited Air Recon
Quality Fatigue Modifier
Counter-Battery Fire
Virtual Supply Trucks
Artillery set-up
Recon Spotting

Let me know if all these optionals look OK.

For those whose emails I don't have, please send me them and I will add to list.

RE: Germany 2 anyone?
As I said, IMO Limited Air Recon greatly helps WP forces, since NATO strategy was based upon Air forces, I'll drop that one, but if folks want to play this one, hey I'm WP player :)

Outlaw Josey Wales Wrote:I believe it's the Germany2 Expansion Pack at Volcano Man's website. It's a combo Fulda Gap, NGP, Berlin and Southern Denmark with some Danish units. I think it's at the bottom of the MC download page.

Jose

Yes it seems the 'germany 2 pack' has the 'some danish units'

Greg,[and jose] i'll get back to you very soon.
What i dont want to do is have one player US
One German
And one all else.
The one with 'all else' is going to be doing little except with BOAR
till mid late game. from memeory i may chop some of the west germans
and give it to 'all else'. and give say, dutch to Bnd.

Will send mail tomorrow with ideas

Musashi
