Matrix?

I believe it's about that time of the month for a Matrix update?

I've been wanting to purchase a new lap top for several months now. I fluxuate between purchasing something with enough juice to run Vista and just getting something that will run XP and then upgrade in two years?

I only use my computer for this game and a few sports games, saving some pictures and email.

Don't think I need the multi-task Vista at this time and can always upgrade in a couple of years to a computer with more juice and less costly than it would be today.

Opinions solicited.

From what i've heard from my opponents at the Blitz who upgraded to Vista at least half have gone back to XP Pro because of various problems running older games. I for one am going to wait until i get another system in a few years and they have ironed out all the bugs in Vista....just like Microsoft had to with 95, 98 and XP. ;)
