Release date for CMx2 announced

Im not too keen on the setting but look forward to trying out the new engine.

That's the way I feel.

...and who knows? The game may give me an appreciation for the setting.

:soap:Well, it's by Battlefront. And I mean by Battlefront, and not "by someone else but 'developed' by Battlefront."

These are the guys who did CM, after all. They have amply demonstrated their attention to detail and playability and quality. They delayed each release long enough to be frustrating, all because the product wasn't ready. This one's been delayed longer than any of the prior ones.

So I rather doubt that it will be all that buggy. There's only one way to find out, of course, but I'm willing to take that chance. I jumped on CMBB and CMAK without hesitation when they came out, and was not disappointed.

I agree they made 3 of 6 best games I ever played (3 x CM and UFO, Fallout and Total War) so I am pretty sure that it will be good game and I will buy it to "debug" and play :) (or maybe I will first check out the demo - I hope there will be a demo :)
