Matrix compatibility
Looks like older custom scn's in WF are not compatible with the Matrix edition. Does anyone know what will be compatible or not? I wanted to wait to get the matrix version after some of the MS bugs have been resolved.

Until then players looking for games should state what version they are looking for a game on.

RE: Matrix compatibility
I have not met any issues yet with my own custom WF scns

RE: Matrix compatibility
Just tried to pay DC using the Samree scn. Played that with no problems against other opponents. He could see my turns and start the scn but each time I got his I could not see the units or the map. We tried lots of different options then gave up.

Like with lots of new software, there are sometimes compatibility issues with upgrades. In other postings I think it was pretty plain that the release could have used a bit more play testing.

RE: Matrix compatibility
Are you sure you are both using the Matrix version and exactly the same scenario files and have you tried another scn. Wouldn't be the first corrupted scn file causing a problem like this.

The file is fine. I am using the old TS WF and he is using the new Matrix WF. That was the point of my post that the 2 versions may not be compatible.

RE: Matrix compatibility
I will once the bugs are worked out. I never jump on an initial release.

I just wanted to remind people using the Matrix version that they have to state that if looking for a game as I don't think many of us have jumped on the band wagon as of yet.
