Reporting New Matrix Scenarios
When are the new scenarios going to be posted? Also, where? New folder?

I sure some of us will be needing to report sometime in the near future.

RE: Reporting New Matrix Scenarios
Does there need to be a standard naming convention for the ME scens?

A previous thread notes an older scen that has been modified to make use of the new units in the ME.

Or is there a category for ME as in RS, RSG, RSIS, RSME?

RE: Reporting New Matrix Scenarios
hrmm good question
There is a sub category for the various games, like FOTR sealion battle pack etc.. and scenarios that were only available thru those specific ones. you can see them listed in the scenario listings

I imagine we can do the same for ME

RE: Reporting New Matrix Scenarios
I think it will be better to just register under WF EFII and RS. This will prevent overly complicated searching and the risk that scns are registered twice.

I agree with Huib. The vast majority of scenes are no doubt identical to the "originals", and have not been modifed at all. To create an entirely different category would be, in the end, much more confusing than it is worth. It would also dilute the historical results for many, many scenarios.

RE: Reporting New Matrix Scenarios
CS ME needs to be added to the games owned selection if the versions are not compatable for PBEM.

RE: Reporting New Matrix Scenarios
I agree Huib, Don,

I noticed the confusion when we did FOTR, Battle Pack and Sealion, we should have just left it EF/ WF/ RS and all the games' scenarios would be found under 1 category rather than 3 or 4.

I think we should add the new ones under the appropriate big 3 main listings and let it grow from here.

Do you guys all feel We need to add a new game to the list tho? CS ME?

I don't feel that need to be honest. It is the same game, just a new version, but perhaps it is good to have it under "games owned". Personally I always forget to look what games others own though.
I've had similar misunderstandings in the past that we may face now since I never owned "Sea Lion"; none of my opponents noticed that before I couldn't open the file :)

Personally I will only continue to play the old version as long as some of my regular opponents for some reason haven't been able to purchase the new one.

RE: Reporting New Matrix Scenarios
I agree, that we don't need separate sub-categories. The only think we should reconsider would be how distinct those ME CS scenarios (especially those custome ones) from the others.

We have two choices:
- some distinction code, as we have for scenarios from PB#1 disc,
- in scenario description...

Both ways will do for me :smoke:
