Rank Significance

I was curious as to the significance of the rank displayed next to our posts. In my case "Recruit". Since I've been a member of this web site since 2000 I was wondering why is my rank at the bottom rung?

I guess it depends on the number of posts. Btw. you joined in 2005 - as it is displayed.

No I joined in November of 2000 for Steel Panthers, 2005 for Combat Mission. Check my member's page.

Dan,
The rank displayed near your post count is based...well,on your post count.The higher your number of posts,the higher your rank.You shouldn't confuse this rank with your ladder(s) rank,since they are completely different things.
However,you can change the text displayed next to your posts-if you don't like this ranking system.Just go to your UserCp->Edit Profile and add a new custom user title.
