Error reading scenario file????

Does anyone have any idea why, when generating a battle, I would get a message warning "error reading scenario file"? If I click ok, then the battle starts and I can play it, but if I exit after saving, then try to reload, I get a black screen, what gives?? Thanks,

At a guess the version ie 102 -103 some scenarios wont play on different versions,hence the black screen.
