Rico,

I got to the point that I hoped the Wallabies wouldn't win, because if they did they didn't deserve it. I would say England was in top form the first thirty minutes but they just couldn't get a try. They were always dominate but just couldn't seal the deal and won by penalty kicks. I have to go for England but France will probably put them away.
I'm kicking myself for not staying up and watching the FRA / NZ game. Must of been a good one.
Go Fiji!

Thumbs_Up  RE: World Cup Rugby
yessssssssssssss!!!!

I do not know how they did this, but they did it !
may be of the grey color of "all blacks" 's shirt.
anyway, i watched the match and it was very balanced, particularly in second-half.
after the english victory on australia, that is a second surprise, and let us a chance to reach the final, because i really think we can beat them in semi-final.

cheers.

Rico (FGM) Wrote:Hmm... Norther Hemisphere sides not looking too good this time round.

Looks like it'll be Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and South Africa in semis.

Bloody 'ell -- what a turnaround! Great game, the NZ-France!

Suddenly I'm more than a little nervous about the SA - Fiji game this afternoon.
Maybe we can at least rely on the Argies??? They seem hungry enough to really want it! Eek

RE: World Cup Rugby
Yep, I thought the Aussies deserved to lose as they did, apart from a few isolated times, play pretty horribly. However I didnt expect the All Blacks to go down in a repeat of eight years ago! Turning point waz McAlistair getting sent off in the 2nd half I think.....the French smelled blood & never looked back.

My God, what a turn up for the books. Where do the All Blacks go from here?? Cry

RE: World Cup Rugby
I'm dying here. Can't see the South Africa / Fiji game live (taped game comes on in two hours). I figured that Fiji didn't have a chance so just kept up with the score with the live feature on the Rugby World Cup site. Fiji is putting on a game of it. I might have to stay up and watch this one...
