I hastily deploy my Shers into defensive posture in town but they're distracted and fail to see they're being stalked by a hunting trio of panzers lining up for a classic keyhole shot between clumps of trees and houses.
Inset -the panzers pounce..

Groan, his schreck guy in the church down the road blows up my Sherman and the blast from the explosion kills the Wolverine too, proving how vulnerable open-tops are to blast.

But you have to realize, that DK is a top ELO guy here at the blitz and one of the only top ELO players to play you on your own scenarios. As our ladder is so large, anyone in the top 20 must and should be considered a "Quintiple Ladder Leader" as evaluated by your own inchoate and biased metrics.

No disrespect to the other players who have taken up your challenge, but when you play the top players at the blitz like DK, you truly do become a "Hole-E man".

Overall though, DK is probably winning because he is a good player.

But only you and he would know, us having not seen the turn replays or made the decisions.

DK is playing like I play - tight tank formations, fearless, focussed, clear-thinking, ability to see the big picture, seems to have the same motto as me - "be the hunter, not the hunted".

A nothing-to-write-home-about pic of my Brit mortar taking out Herrobersts 8-wheeler with a treeburst, illustrating how light armour is vulnerable to light mortars, i'll also put this pic in the Tac Discussion area.
PS - The car is a 75mm L/24-armed job, but the standard graphic only shows a 20mm cannon, maybe there's a mod available somewhere to give it an L/24?

DEADLINE ANNOUNCEMENT!

I've decided this challenge series will end on the last day of October,that should be no problem as it's 3 weeks away,
4 of the 10 games have already finished and the rest are well under way.
So any games not finished by Nov 1st will go to a Holy Inquisition presided over by me to find out why.
As in all my Tourneys and Challenges, the rule is MARCH or DIE..
