I pleased to announce that this scenario has met the exacting H2H standards and is now available to download - the battle has also been added into the database and is ready to be reported as an approved battle.

Gents - enjoy !

Well done Bear and his testers for all their efforts, remember the link to the CM approved scenarios can be found in the sticky threads of the CM H2H forum (top of page with AAR's etc...) :)

Have you sent that scenario to The Scenario Depot II for the rest of the community to download and play as well? It could get substantial playtime and reviews there as well as here.

Good Hunting.

RE: Streets Of Stalingrad V2.2

I thank you Antoni,
all the other testers and the ones I failed to list in the scenario Brief. Big thanks to "The Blitzkrieg Club"
Wish the DBase could maintain a list of all who tested a scenario...
(BTW the link to this scenario on the DB says: "This scenario unavailable for download")

It is my first scenario approved for "H2H".
Saying it is mine is not absolute. I'm a veteran war gamer. After spending time and energy playing bad scenarios I decided to try the scenarios listed as Avalon Hill or Squad Leader scenarios; a game system I know all too well...they have to be perfect...Not.
Excellent Squad Leader scenarios were referenced in the titles and briefs but they seemed to have been done on the run. I'm not the anal type but should we make reference to a classic standard of excellence I felt it was not acceptable to alter so much of the scenario that it becomes something else.

But, for all you Combat Mission veterans it is important to note that Squad Leader scenarios are tactical models. They are mainly in - your - face engagements and you as the player must find the best tactical response. With WeGo...Squad Leader senarios are over the top.

Anyone that has played this "S'grad" scenario will testify that for a seemingly small scenario you will feel drained by the action. Hint: Setup with great care.

Thanks y'all,

William "Bear" Velovich
