Introducing my 12yr old son

What would you suggest would be a good way to introduce him to the game and refresh my memory of the game, thanks

Play a hot seat game with him. Coach him when it's his turn. Make sure he beats you the first time out.

These scenarios have been recommended as training scenarios.

I would recommend that you play which ever scenario you choose against the AI with no fog of war and let him see how the computer does things. Put the computer experience bonus at a +3 then walk him through the game letting him see both sides and how the game plays out.
