Matrix/CS compatibility
If I transferred the necessary files of a scenario fom my CS folder to my Matrix folder -would it play?

And vice versa?

I don't want to try it in case the computer melts or something equally nasty!!!

RE: Matrix/CS compatibility
Jason will correct me, but I thought the old scenarios will play on Matrix but the new ones, designed in Matrix, will not work in TS.
I've played a few members who have only TS and we have had no problems with scenarios, even the custom ones!

RE: Matrix/CS compatibility
Speaking as someone who has bought all the Talonsoft versions over the years I would go ahead and spend the $45 on the Matrix edition. Divide that $45 in all the hours I have played it comes out a bargain. For our European comrades I think that $45 equals about 3 1/2 Euros

Everything is included in one price, new scenarios, and future units, scenarios on the way.

Yes, I have the Matrix, but what does the price per playing hour have to do wih compatibility?

RE: Matrix/CS compatibility
It has nothing to do with compatibility.

I'll make this answer on topic. I don't think moving your Talonsoft files to your new folders will crash the game. I do know that I've attempted to play a few scenarios with the TS files and eventually the game crashed or was not viewable from one side.

RE: Matrix/CS compatibility
Just put the files from EF II and WF right into the Matrix versions. They should work fine.I simply unzipped all my custom scenario files and they play ok.

RE: Matrix/CS compatibility
Well, Tiger88 and I are playing a custom scenario using the Matrix version of CS. The only thing that I can tell that is not working right thus far are my bicycles. They can't move.
