What Ver. is being Used ??
Hello fellow war gamers:smoke: I have tried to get back into the frey, but need to know what version of SPwaw we are using ? I have H2Hfr7.1 and SpWaW8.43 is there any one beyond that ??? I also have MBT + enhanced. If you could also tell me... Can th H2H mod be used with 8.43 ?
Thank You:bow:

RE: What Ver. is being Used ??
H2H overwrites v. 8.xx and "turns back" the game to ver. 7.1 :)
The most common is ver. 8.40 and 8.403.

Hey Aaron,
Most here at blitz use spww2 or spmbt
Most Commonly used version for SPWAW is SPWAW Enhanced, at least by folks at the spwaw depot and around matrix games.
I know very few who still use "vanilla" spwaw.
latest version, just released, is "Enhanced 2008" Link below

you actually dont need to have 8.403 as the Mech is swapped out anyway and Enhanced uses a modified 8.403 mech
anything form 8.3 to 8.403 can be used.
you can downlaod Enhanced at the Enhanced forum
link is in my signature below.
Just so you are clear, there are actually 2 versions
one is called "DV". It uses alot of Native languages for the units in alot of countries
Like a Polish Rifle Sqd would be "Piechoty Szwad"
alot of our foreign gamers liked the fact thier native oob was in their language.
:-)
"DVRN" has exact Identical OOB data, just uses more Regular names (RN) for units. Like "Rifle Szwad" as opposed to "Piechoty Szwad"

H2H is still the best SP game. While I didn´t played much the 8.4 version - I guess there was something I didn´t like in it... so I just stayed with 7.1 h2H :)
